Really and truly, racism isn't a systemic problem like many are making it out to be. However, thanks to the magical power the state confers on certain groups, racists and sociopaths tend to gravitate toward law enforcement and military service as an outlet for their otherwise socially unacceptable behavior. I suppose in that way it can be said that racism is systemic, in that the system enables it even without expressly meaning to.

In other news, water's wet and the sky is blue, I suppose.
