Precious metals will always have their use cases and place, but cryptos have very different properties that solve many issues of the digital, border-less economy.

I'm not sure apt comparisons can be even drawn between precious metals and cryptos - they're just two completely different assets with radically different properties.

i like deng postingan yeu,

Is Andy Hoffman the guy that used to post a lot of pro-PMetals stuff on SeekingAlpha?

What are you going to do when the United Governments begin to attack cryptocurrencies as illegal to own? Or do you not expect this?

Do you believe silver was manipulated by large banks (JPM, CS) in 2011, using naked shorting of futures?

How has immutability become "not in doubt"?

So how do you hold your bitcoin? Coinbase? USB dongle? Paper?
Answer: later he talks about Bittrex. (Coinbase is 4% fee right now)
Then later in video he says Coinbase will die (partly due to bad decisions, like not dealing out the BCH at fork time)
They don't care about customers, certainly not small ones who they fee to death.
BitFlyer (Japan) will crush Coinbase simply bc their (Andy has an account here) country supports it.
BitFlyer has a BitLicense, by the way.
Says Coinbase will die from both de-centralized exchanges, peer-to-peer networks, and additionally better-organized centralized exchanges (like BitFlyer).
"centralized exchanges were not the vision of Satoshi"-- Andy

Why do you think Bitcoin Cash (BCH) won't take over?

So do you think crypto/bitcoin becomes similar to cash, such that even after it's outlawed people will still privately transact using it? Tax implications!

What is CGC?
answer: crypto-gold central, his website, believe he said subscription involved.

What is "Flippening"
a crypto gaining a bigger market cap than bitcoin.
Ethereum attempted in mid 2017, then BCH was going to do it in 2H 2017

So which are the 5% of coins which are worth something-- not worthless.

... but there HAS been news, the news was BCH. Bitcoin effectively doubled itself, thus 21mm "shares" weren't the limit of what it can print. In fact, bitcoin can continue to "split" and thus create hard forks which act as money printing. Thus there's been BIG news in 2017, which could lead to the "end".

There's been really no amount of time you can analyst BCH vs BTC and find a spot where BTC is winning. We're not supporting BCH in this statement, just saying BCH has been catching up to BTC since inception.

So are you going to become an outlaw when governments make bitcoin illegal to own? Or will you sell your bitcoin and go back to gold or governmental cash?

Bitcoin Rodium? Wait, what is it? And why is it useful? Airdrops are fine, but what's the point of the new coin? "Trying to be silver to bitcoin's gold"-- giving it away to bitcoin holders.

ByteBall
BitCore? $6 to $25

Notes:
Bitcoin
Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Gold
Bitcoin Diamond
Superbitcoin

question to self...
Is this the proper time progression?

NOTES:
"I have never been more bullish on bitcoin than I am right now"-- Andy
$20,000 in 3 weeks, could happen, for example.
Crash isn't a big deal, it's just a bigger drop (50%) bc the rise (250%) was bigger this time.

Ethereum: "valued as one of the biggest tech stocks in the world"
So he seems kinda negative on Ethereum.

bitcoin: this crash hasn't been based on any news this time. hmmmmm....

"bitcoin is the new gold"
If Gold has $8 trillion market cap, then bitcoin at current $173 billion can get to half a million per bitcoin.

Why do you think the governments won't naked-short bitcoin, like they did to silver/gold in 2011? Now that futures exist, the governments can give permission to large banks to naked short this stuff, and lo and behold the top in bitcoin matches the introduction of futures!

What is the current cost of production of gold?
