While living in a small townhouse community we had a neighbor who was genuinely afraid of ALL animals. Because she had no pets, a stray cat graciously decided to have a litter of kittens in the shrubs near her front door. This terrified her to the point she would not enter her home through the front. One day, when she knew someone was home, she came asking my sons to help her get the fur babies out of the bushes.
Because we had several dogs at the time we had access to this playpen and were able to keep them safe until animal control could pick them up to help find them forever homes. She was grateful and my boys enjoyed playing with the little fur babies.
