My wife and I were lucky enough to rescue this little cutie around our first anniversary. She is 8 now and this is still her favorite thing to do.
I am a big believer in rescuing animals as opposed to purchasing them from breeders or pet stores. We had a neighbor several years ago that was running a puppy mill from their house and it was horrible. Thank goodness they got in trouble and stopped.
