Wild living little bunnies in Vienna

I am always amazed how much urban wildlife you can find in Vienna and I am happy that the animals there are not so shy and it is a bit easier to take pictures of them compared to other regions here in Austria. And since I have a friend who studied biology in Vienna I get to know several nice places for animals, plants and nature in general. In spring and early summer it is the best time to take some pictures of the bunnies' who are looking for the nice and fresh green grass and plants around their caves. Only a few meters from their holes there is a railway passing by. But there are only a few trains on this track.

I always find it nice how close you can get to animals that live in the city compared to the ones that live completely in their natural habitat. They are much more afraid and a lot more difficult to photography in regions where they still have their natural habitat. So regarding taking pictures of them I like the onese that live in urban area since they are much more easy to photograph. But on the other hand I also like seeing some in their natural habitat that is not so much influenced by us humans.

I love innercity wild animals. During my time in Berlin, I often went to the main public library (Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek in Kreuzberg) and the ground level reading room had a row of windows to the back side, where a green area was, with bushes and some trees - but inaccessible to the public. And there lived a group of bunnies who were used to people behind the glass screen. If your movements weren't to hasty or big, they didn't care. You could sit there reading or working for hours, with the bunnies only some meters away - I loved that!

Oh schön, ähnlich wie in Wien. Durch das Leben in der Stadt sind sie weniger Scheu.
