I was walking around on my property
and found this pile of feathers. I always try to figure out what happened. I did not find any blood, so I think it was expertly plucked. Was it a hawk, an owl, a raccoon, a bear, a fox, a coyote, or....
Was it plucked on the ground
or up in a tree. It seems the feathers are awfully close together, to have fallen from above.
Anyone out there recognize these primaries?
