"Darling in The Franxx" was promoted as a collaboration of the a-1 and Trigger and I think this is not a hyperbole if it says that this anime is one of the most popular series for 2018 winter thanks to a flood of new fanart although four episodes aired, and the discussion against its content reminding with artificial series of Gainax.
This series tells the story of a future in which the Earth is destroyed by a geothermal mining caused the various monsters of the giant named Klaxosaur/Koryu popping up. Humanity took refuge in the fortress of running named Plant and use mecha named Franxx piloted a pair of teenagers dubbed the Parasites, which consists of Stamen and Pistil; the couple specifically bred to drive it.
Code: 016 "Hiro" was the candidate who once had high potential but is now considered a Stamen failed. While the Code: 002 Klaxosaur bloody Pistil is famous because none of the life companion Stamen after three times fighting with him.
Before I talk about the episodes that already aired, let's start this anime production background which is quite interesting.
This is a Gainax show

Verdict: Get in the Sexing of the Robot, Hiro
This anime will be broadcast during the 2 cour, and so far the episodes that already aired, makes me quite optimistic with the movement of the story going forward. Setting and this world's system has great prospects to search further. I also have to be honest if a girl in just military greatcoat is my thing, and I'm grateful not just him alone who made me happy with the Darling in the Franxx.
I really hope the quality is consistent for the future could hold. Most make me worry with this series is that its production schedule of dikebut because this series should be broadcast next season, so concerned about the quality of the production was not able to survive over its run.
