Anxiety attacks, a weird place to be

Not really sure what to say about it.

It all started a few months ago seemingly out of the blue. I can't quite put my finger on why its happening, but I have been having crippling anxiety attacks.

I suppose talking about EVERYTHING would clear my head some.

Been on some pills for it, that made me very aggressive and drowsy, which is an extremely odd combination to have. Tiredly angry? IDK

So I slept a bunch on those things. I ended up going off of them because I decided exercise, relaxing, reading, and being active would be better than being on a pill that makes me angrily tired?

Lost about 27 lbs in total over a 2 month span, due to having stomach issues. Was on pills for that WHICH MADE IT WORSE.... Finally off pills and any antacids. Occasionally taking a Gas-X type pill because random bloating that I never had before in my life, seriously wtf is that? Just turning 36 randomly makes this happen to you? Can't wait until im 46.... ffs

Something new to me

I started listening to more music and genres I normally wouldn't listen to.

This is kinda lame, but I really like this song my brother showed me randomly, Bruno Mars - 24K Magic.

The dancing and lyrics are pretty laughable and not too serious. I always find the humble brag culture hilarious trolling. The vibe I get from Bruno Mars is kind of a Daft Punk + Michael Jackson thing. The sound is extremely smooth, which is what I always appreciated about Daft Punk.

I usually listen to stuff by bands like Falling Up/Kill Switch Engage/Disturbed/Electronica stuff

Is it under control? Not really

You will probably have noticed I am not really around much.

Still seem to have these kind of odd anxiety attacks, sometimes happening in my sleep which is scary. Waking up out of breath is a very odd feeling, but now that I have had it happen so many times it almost became normal. I am still going to Doctors to see what is going on with me, possibly nerve damage from something that happened to me when I was younger(my back nerve fires a lot in my spine). Maybe the stuff during my sleep isn't anxiety attacks it is more of a nerve damage problem or sleep apnea(could be because I have had issues with my esophagus).

Well that is it for today. Will play some Red Dead Redemption 2 and watch dragonball z stuff on youtube ;)

You're doing the first thing best - getting in good physical shape won't stop these problems from happening, but it does help you deal with them and recover from them

I suffer from a similar problem, if not anxiety attacks

and you're doing the second thing right, which is to get it off your chest

remember that you are dealing with informationwar, and there is a lot of stress in doing that:

  • sometimes it feels like you're screaming in the wilderness
  • anxiety will be brought on by predictions of the future
  • worrying about personal repercussions is stressful

knowing the various things that can cause stress let's you make plans for dealing with each stress factor on it's own basis

also, spend more time with wife/kids/family

Good advice. I have been spending more time with family and brother and parents. Trying to sleep more, do more mindless stuff instead of thinking all the time.

I find myself thinking way too much at times.

bingo, I do that all the time (think too much), and get insomnia from it

also consider, you aint going to win the IW all by yourself, so don't kill yourself waging it

I used to have a serious case of health anxiety, oddly it started after I was on a specific drug for a case of GERD. Later I found out it's banned in many countries, like the us, cause it can cause (rarely) all kinds of shit, including messing with your head.

Took me about two years to gradually be totally over it, it was living hell though especially during the first six months when I decided it was all in my stupid head. 😂😅

Hope you get over it, I know it sucks.

Yeah I am working on it. Sleeping more, exercise, eating better. I had some esophagus problems for a little while too that certainly didn't help!!!

Shit mate, they are horrible.

I have only suffered them once - for a two month period -ish - when my Dad was dying and was a very shit place in time for me.

I only pinned down what was causing them in retrospect - not at the time.

I can't offer you any advice, sorry, but this might help you pin down any underlying causes...?
(maybe, I dunno, just offering what I know from my own experience).

Take care of yourself. There is a mental war out there and the powers that be are bombarding garbage information 24/7 worldwide. Their goal is to goad is into apathy or overwhelming anxiety..

Learn how to do breathing exercises. Very important to regulate your breathing during a flood of stress hormones caused by spiralling anxiety.

Yes! They want us terrified and anxious so we go along with the big push for world govt.

I would say, meditate, go out in a forest, watch a movie where you feel good after it, drink tea! This are my practicing when i´m feeling bad and it helped me always! I wish you all the best and hopefully you feel better in a few weeks :)
