HOW TO CREATE,MANAGE AND TRADE ALIASES ON THE APOLLO BLOCKCHAIN

in #apollo6 years ago

Hello steemians,
I am making this post in a bid to complement my last post where I had previously made an evaluation of the blockchain technology and the apollo currency and how it will change the crypto currency industry. This post is centered on how to create, manage and trade aliases easily on the apollo blockchain

aliases are names comparable to domain names which you can associate with your apollo account and use to receive messages, files, funds and other related actions on the apollo blockchain....aliases can be claimed only once by just 1 user except its ownership is transferred or sold to another account for an agreed amount of apollo coins.Without much propaganda, lets go straight into the simple steps involved:

STEP 1 OPEN YOUR APOLLO WEB WALLET AND CLICK YOUR DASHBOARD,YOU WILL SEE ALIASES AS DISPLAYED BELOW

STEP 2

STEP 3 CLICK ON REGISTER NEW ALIAS AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF YOUR SCREEN

3 options to create alias.jpg

When this page loads, you can either choose to register a url alias e.g apollo.io or toggle change it to an account alias such as amec, apollo etc or if you wish to register a type of alias apart from this 2,you can select others and proceed.

STEP 4 FILL IN THE REQUIRED FIELDS WITH THE ALIAS DETAILS YOU WANT TO CREATE AND THEN SET THE FEE TO 4 APOLLO COIN THEN PROCEED TO CREATE THE ALIAS

wait for around 1-2 minutes for the network to register your alias and you are done, you can create as many aliases as possible....the process should initially take just 2 seconds in the future when apollo is fully operational on the hermes protocol

HOW TO SELL AN ALIAS

SIMPLY GO TO YOUR ALIAS MENU/DASHBOARD AND CLICK ON SELL TO SELL IT

YOUR ALIAS WILL BE SOLD WHEN SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS IT AND PAYS FOR IT.
