I think most of us envy those who travel the world, especially those who dare to take the lonely paths where comfort and safety is not guaranteed.
What most do not appreciate is that the traveller leaves behind an impression, especially within small lonely villages who seem to live in a time left behind by the rest of the world, sometimes awakening them to a way of life they knew little about. They see you leave and whether sorry to see you leave or not, they envy you all that you will see and experience. Afterwards, life seems to be just a little bit more drab than it was.
Also, it is easy to forget that some of these people live under danger of being accused of favouring (or even that they allowed a photo, especially among the females) the stranger and the culture of the stranger who spoke to them.
I hope you realise that in Persia are those who have renamed it Iran and who punish females for even imagined 'transgressions'. I hope none of their extremist imams see this photo.
