The Refion of Nubia is split between Egypt and Sudan and was the home to several empires through history. It was once the seat of one of the earliest civilizations of ancient Africa but now, it is only small villages along the Nile. Rather abandoned, most houses don't have roof or proper floor, but we can still see vestiges of better times on some of them.
