I’m never a big fan of Appics. I just don’t see how it can have potential. The only selling point is it’s a crypto version of Instagram or something? I don’t get it. Success of Instagram lies in its massive users, otherwise it’s just shitty photo sharing platform... there are many other instagram copycats, none of which became successful. “Crypto” is not a magic that suddenly makes it successful.

I could not agree more @joythewanderer! It seems like if people want to just share pictures to the Steem blockchain from their mobile device that the eSteem app (or a mobile browser) would work just fine for doing so.
As I have stated before I just do not understand why they fail to mention that all the posts made with their app are being posted to the Steem blockchain and that their APX token is Steem backed. It just seems dishonest and very non-transparent.
Not to mention they are also one of the first apps built on steem that got heavy support from the inc from very beginning
This is very true! I was just reading about that the day before yesterday. They also seemed to 'fail to deliver' for quite some time and ugh when they did 'deliver' we get a bunch of spammy selfies with no credit being given to Steemit Inc!
