Free repairs for iPhone 7 announed by Apple

in #apple6 years ago

Apple has announced free repair for a small percentage of iPhone 7 devices that are suffering from connection error. Recently, some iPhone 7 devices have been reported for connection failure issue and displaying “No Service” on the status bar. This issue is happening after the iPhone switches off Airplane Mode and unable to re-connect to the service.

According to the company, this issue is coming due to a failed component on the main logic board. Apple has put some restrictions to qualify for this offer. As per the company, the affected devices were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018. These iPhones were sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, and the United States. So this offer is for only a specific model number depending on the region where customers bought their devices.

Apple requires customers to get their affected iPhones repaired in the country or region of their purchase. Only iPhones purchased less than two years ago will be eligible for this program. If your device has other issues like cracked screen, then you need to get it resolved first before applying for free repair of connection issue.
