Thought some of you might enjoy hearing my singing of the US anthem today. I know a bunch on here are totally anti-state but it's cool. Just thought I'd post & share for those who would appreciate.
There's a lot that's messed up about the US (and no, not the mainstream du jour things we are being forced to discuss daily--more of the rabbit-trail corruption sort of things is what I think when I say that)), but there is a lot that is wonderfully good and worth defending. America and Americans--that authentic, generous, kind, hard-working, fiery spirit--have been very good to me as a Canadian. Grateful & celebrating with you.

For about a minute and a half there, I could have sworn that I was at a hockey game. Have you ever done that gig?
I haven't actually. The Canadian one is wrecked now but maybe I can do it before the American is totally slaughtered, too! lol
Did they change the Canadian one? LOL! I tuned everything out and honestly don't even know what planet I live on anymore...
Yeah, they changed "thy sons" to something less feminist-offensive. Absurd. I'm so tired of this inane world.
The world... like walking into the house of the mentally disturbed neat freak where everything has a place and a label attached. Simply ask why the spatula belongs in the bathroom and you're automatically sent to the basement to serve a life sentence, deemed unfit for a society pretending to be perfect not because doing good things make you feel good but because it makes you look good.
Integrity has more to do with how one decides to choose their path, when nobody is looking. I have trouble trusting anyone who acts good, for views. "Look at me! I'm holding the door open for someone because I love everybody equally now (except for those who see right through me they need to be silenced ASAP)!"
