.استمرت افضلية برشلونة مع بداية الشوط الثاني حيث وقف الحظ دون تسجيل ميسي لهدف فريقه الثالث وبعدها استطاع المهاجم كين من تسجيل الهذف الاول لتوتنهام وتقليص الفارق لتصبح المباراة قوية وممتعة وبعد ذلك عاد ميسي ليكسر نحسه وتكمن من تسجيل الهذف الثالت لبرشلونة ورفض توتنهام الاستسلام وتمكن مرة اخرى من تسجيل الهذف الثاني عن طريق لاميلا وقلص الفارق مرة اخرى ويعود ميسي ليسجل الهذف الثاني له والرابع للفريق وتنتهي المباراة بفوز برشلونة
هذا الفوزلبرشلونة جاء بعد سلسلة من النتائج السلبية لاخر ثلات مبارات بالدوري الاسباني التي لم يستطيع الفوز بها منها تعادلين على ارضه وخسارة خارج ارضه ليتنفس الفريق الصعداء بفوز مثالي ومهم في هذه الفترة
