أعلنت كندا استقبال ما يزيد على مليون مهاجر خلال السنوات الثلاث المقبلة، في محاولة منها لتحفيز النمو الاقتصادي والابتكار.
وسترفع كندا نسبة المهاجرين خلال كل سنة من السنوات الثلاث المقبلة، حيث ستستقبل 310 ألف مهاجر عام 2018، و330 ألفاً في 2019، على أن ترحب عام 2020 بـ340 ألف مهاجر.
وذكر وزير الهجرة الكندي أحمد حسين أن “المهاجرين سيساهمون من خلال مؤهلاتهم في دعم الاقتصاد والابتكار، كما سيساعدون في حفاظ بلدنا على المراكز الأولى في الاقتصاد العالمي”.
وكشف بيان الحكومة الكندية أن الوزارة تهدف إلى رفع عدد السكان الدائمين بنسبة 1% بحلول عام 2020.
ووفق بيانات صادرة عن هيئة الإحصاء الكندية عام 2011، فإن أكبر عدد من المهاجرين إلى كندا يأتي من آسيا والشرق الأوسط.
ومن المتوقع أن ينمو اقتصاد كندا بنسبة 3% في عام 2017، إلا أنه سينخفض إلى 1.8% بحلول عام 2019.
ومن بين جميع هؤلاء القادمين الجدد، سيتم قبول حوالي 565 ألفاً من خلال البرامج الاقتصادية، على أن يستفيد ربع هذا العدد من واحدة من البرامج الاقتصادية الاتحادية المنضوية تحت نظام “إكسبريس إنتري” Express Entry، بحسب ما ذكرت قناة سكاي نيوز عربية.
ونظام إكسبرس إنتري هو نظام سريع للبت في طلبات أصحاب الشهادات والخبرات العلمية.
كما سيتم قبول 184 ألفاً من المهاجرين الاقتصاديين وأفراد أسرهم المرافقين من خلال برامج المرشحين الإقليميين Provincial Nominee Programs، التي تسمح للمقاطعات والأقاليم بترشيح الأفراد بناء على قدرتهم على الاستقرار في سوق العمل في تلك المناطق.
ومن بين البرامج الاقتصادية الأخرى، سترحب كيبيك بـ94 ألف عامل مهاجر.
كما يوجد نوع آخر من الهجرة يخصّ جمع شمل نحو 250 ألفاً من الأزواج والأطفال بأوليائهم المقيمين مسبقاً في كندا.
أما النوع الثالث فيهم إعادة توطين اللاجئين، حيث ستستهدف نحو 43 ألف لاجئ من أجل الحصول على إقامة دائمة بحلول 2018، و45650 لاجئاً في 2019، و48700 لاجئ في 2020.

Canada has received more than a million immigrants over the next three years in a bid to stimulate economic growth and innovation.

The Canadian government statement said the ministry aims to raise the number of permanent residents by 1% by 2020.
According to data released by Statistics Canada in 2011, the largest number of immigrants to Canada comes from Asia and the Middle East.
Canada's economy is expected to grow by 3% in 2017, but will fall to 1.8% by 2019.
Of all these newcomers, about 565,000 will be accepted through economic programs, with a quarter of this coming from one of the federal economic programs under the Express Entry system, Sky News Arabia reported.
Xpress Intry is a fast system for determining the applications of the holders of scientific certificates and expertise.
184,000 economic migrants and their accompanying family members will be admitted through the Provincial Nominee Programs, which allow provinces and territories to nominate individuals based on their ability to stabilize the labor market in those areas.
Among other economic programs, Quebec will welcome 94,000 migrant workers.
Another type of migration is the reunification of about 250,000 couples and children with their parents who already reside in Canada.
The third type will be resettlement of refugees, with some 43,000 refugees targeted for permanent residence by 2018, 45650 in 2019 and 48,700 in 2020.
