We here at the RentMoney blog are gearing up to trade for some Moon Kart assets. To do that there is two options for purchase. (1) Using the paypal feature to purchase credits. A feature that is conveniently located on the Arcade Colony site or (2) by using SCRIPT Tokens which can be purchased on either Hive-Engine or Tribaldex. We decided that we are going the SCRIPT Token route. So lets do that and have some SCRIPT banked for when we are ready to make our trades sometime in the near future. Currently we hold just 0.5 SCRIPT. That isn't going to cut it, we want more. Today we start to slowly add to that making a small purchase of 5 SCRIPT. Looking at the buy and sell orders on the official TribalDex marketplace we can see that on the BUY side of the market current trade value is 1.55 Hive Tokens per SCRIPT. On the ASK side of the market trade orders start at 4.000 Hive Tokens per script. Lets take a look at what the asking price per SCRIPT is when using the SWAP feature. As indicated in the screenshot below the current trade value when using the swap feature on Tribaldex or Hive-Engine is 1 SWAP.HIVE = 0.6410581 SCRIPT or put another way 1 SCRIPT = 1.55213246 SWAP.HIVE. This means it cost slightly more to purchase using the SWAP feature than it does to set a buy order at the exact amount the current high ASK is listed for. How much more (not much just 0.00213246 Hive per token more). There is just a little over 22 SCRIPT for trade on the open market. All but 10 of them is listed for 4.00 Hive Tokens.

When using the SWAP feature we have the option to pick at what point we want our slippage to be. This is to protect us during price swings mid trade. I always pick the 0.5% Slippage option but there are other options: () 1% () 5% () 10% () 25% () 49%. If we look at the screenshot above a little closer it will provide us with more information. Information such as Minimum Received. This is the least amount of SCRIPT I will get for my 7.776 Hive Purchase. That amount as shown is 4.975 SCRIPT Tokens. Why is this number smaller than the Five Script I set out to purchase? Good Question: The Answer is also shown in the screenshot above. Price Impact is taken into account and we have to pay a Liquidity Provider Fee. The price impact as shown for this specific trade is <0.01%. The Liquidity Provider Fee as shown in the screenshot is just 0.012 SCRIPT. I'm more than happy to pay that fee to have instant access to trade for SCRIPT Tokens. Lets make the SWAP to see the actual amount of SCRIPT we end up with. Done and done; the swap was instant with no delay. We ended up with 4.975 SCRIPT which was the amount the pre-order screen indicated and we are very happy with that. You can also convert COLONY Tokens to SCRIPT. To do that we will first need to log in to Arcade Colony. Afterwards simply click the SCRIPT Icon at the top of the homepage. This will bring you to the SCRIPT wallet section. If your screen looks like the image below you are in the right section. If it doesn't follow the instructions laid out in this post to try again.

It is in the above wallet section that we can Transfer our SCRIPT Tokens. We can do this by clicking the TRANSFER Icon. When doing so your window will update to the Transfer screen. It's within this screen that you can send your in-game SCRIPT Tokens to Hive-Engine or to another player. If you click the GET SCRIPT Icon this is where you can convert your COLONY Tokens to SCRIPT. Currently 10,000 COLONY Tokens can be converted into 1.059 SCRIPT Tokens. The process to do so is quick and painless. Simply enter the amount of COLONY Tokens you want to convert to SCRIPT Tokens. Double and triple check the values. If satisfied click the convert icon. Doing so will then convert your entered amount of COLONY Tokens to SCRIPT Tokens. Speaking of COLONY Tokens @rentmoney offered some in his previous post titled Card Collection Value Holds Strong In A Sea Of Red. A random number generator ran the numbers and decided on numbers (4) and (7). This means that @blitzzzz is our first place winner whom will receive 5000 COLONY Tokens. It also means that @bitcoinflood is our second place winner whom will receive 2500 COLONY Tokens.
