At the latest Office Hours, Aggroed, the founder of Arcade Colony, shared some exciting and promising news. Revolutionary developments are brewing for both Arcade Colony and Genesis League Sports (GLS)!
The first piece of good news was about the Genesis League Sports platform; the "Prime Pick" feature, which will bring a new dimension to this platform, is coming soon. With this feature, you'll now be able to make predictions on sports games; your votes will be proportional to your GLX stake, will make you earn Colony tokens as a reward. A new system for earning these rewards is also being developed and will be voted by DAO soon.
Another exciting piece of news is that Arcade Colony games and GLS games will be playable on phones and tablets. With the release of the mobile version of arcadecolony.com, Prime Pick and GLG as well as StakeHouse Den and MoonKarts will be compatible with phones. This means we'll be able to play these games on our mobile phones!
The Arcade Colony team isn't just building a website; they're actually developing a plan to make Web3 mobile games playable on both computers and phones. The app will be ready soon.
As far as I understand, there are two important things in mobile games: "Free to play" and "installable as an app on phones." Initially, playing games on the apps will be free, but paid features may be added soon to earn passive income.
So, there are some exciting developments ahead!
Furthermore, as Aggroed mentioned there, they're focusing more on Moonkarts, and Stakehouse Den. They say they'll be submitting applications to the Play Store for mobile apps related to these games within the next week or ten days.
