This is a masterplan of a museum built on the initiatives of the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency (BRR) of NAD-Nias and several other agencies as budget people. The building was built to commemorate the massive tsunami events that hit Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam on 26 December 2004 which claimed approximately 240,000 people.
