P9282895.JPG

Located in the heart of the lively Catalan city, the Barcelona Pavillion was built in 1929. It was designed by Mies van der Rohe as a German Pavillion for the 1929 International Exposition. This Pavillion was built from glass, steel and different kinds of marble. It is known as an important building in the history of modern movement due to its simple form and the use of materials.

Being inside, it was quite tranquil and peaceful. You can notice the extravagant in its materialities such as onyx, travertine, and marble. Modernity is expressed in a way through the rigor of their geometry, the precision of the pieces and the clarity of their assembly.
