I'm working on a train station design for my thesis in architecture. Here's a model I built of the project in progress. The tectonics are inspired by traditional canoe construction, and the project tries to convey the idea of flow. This model was built out of wood. Each rib is unique, and was fabricated using a laser cutter.

Very curious as to what the goals of the design are.
The goal of the project is to produce a conceptual design for a train station, that celebrates the history of transportation in the area. The design draws inspiration from traditional canoe design.
