As part of the new Kalavian Tales Campaign, we have an entirely new party of epic Player Characters. In this post we will introduce them briefly:
Batty Wingwright
Professor Wingwright is a scholar and an avid member of the local chemistry society.
Never been too much of a loner he enjoys being in groups and is always happy to talk about his (grow) experiments and wacky inventions
When he hears the supersonic calls of his brethren in the North he packs up and travels to Marbledem to join the armies from the south to help and protect his people that are being expelled from their caves (which are full of artifacts and treasure).

Kala Shan
Kala was born in the city of Two, in the Jackal’s Heads mountains, 25 years ago. She was raised as a Grower / Healer, but due to inter-city wars she spent much of her time fighting. When Seven defeated Two, Kala was captured, and sold into slavery. She has had several owners, finally being sold to Garathor the Unclean, for whom she fought in the Marbledem arena. Here she hid her abilities as a grower, as the sentiments towards people with magics was poor. Eventually, she came close to earning her freedom, although Garathor moved that bar constantly. It wasn’t until the arena burnt down that she truly won her freedom.
Kala is a sociable creature, wanting to do good for the pack. In the past years she has been forced into a more individualistic mentality, but that isn’t who she truly is. She has signed up with the expedition to free New Toth, eager to ply her trade as a healer and adventurer with a new pack. Lastly, Kala knows Leora Kytterak from her time before she came to the Marbledem Arena, during the slavery days.

Yachim Jorts
Yachim is a Flere specialist for hire, who is not affiliated with any guild. He is an expert with a variety of devices and chemicals and is mainly sought after as a demolitions and explosives expert. He grew up in the tunnels beneath the Ledges of West Dyjalom, but migrated to a Human City, Red Delta, because they are always fighting and therefore always in need of things that go boom. Yachim is currently employed by Hugo Antillez of Toth to provide help in besieging the town.

@wanderingmoon There is a lot going on in Kalavia actually. Many of the main storylines and background are posted (or reposted) to the @kalavia blog. There you will find a lot of storylines from other characters within the region, as well as background posts about the setting as a whole.
