ARE YOU READY

Are you satisfied with the status quo? I mean with the life of mediocrity and stagnation. Do you desire to live the life of your dreams? If you want the latter, then it is time to work towards it. Apostle Paul says in the book of Philippians 3:13 that ‘’I count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing I do… I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The greatest achievers were not born with exceptional brains or physical strength. You must strive for excellence in all you do and make the most of your life by working towards realizing your fullest potentials. You are born to succeed and make impact in the world.

You just have to trust God and believe in yourself that you can achieve your life’s dreams. God has neither created you to be a failure or live a life of mediocrity. Therefore, you must settle for less. He has endowed you with great talent and capability to attain any height in life.

Hence, he wants you to push beyond the status quo to do something higher and greater. He expects you to make a meaningful life because without any change there cannot be growth. The first important decision to make is not accepting the status quo; challenge it.

You must know that making it in life is not a function of your background. I am a living and perfect testimony of somebody who was taken out of a miry clay, washed and clean and decorated b God’s grace. You are the next to testify but don’t limit what God can do with your life. The next step is to take action because belief alone won’t create the necessary change.

Taking actions may involve some risks but unwillingness to take risks and make changes amounts to accepting the status quo. Here are some tips to help you make reasonable changes and move beyond our status quo.
First write down your desired goals. Secondly, identify the steps it will take to accomplish each goal. Third, track the steps you have identified against the actions you actually take. Fourth, you must be diligent and persistent in your pursuit of achieving greater things.

Finally, for you to get to the pinnacle of greatness, you must know God. You must be born again and ask for His grace and wisdom to achieve good success. Are you ready? Have a fruitful new week.
