Happy Sunday Steemians,

I (@tezzmax) am so happy to post here today again on behalf of my continent(Africa), my country(Nigeria) and my community on Steemit (@africaunchained). It's a wonderful Sunday today again, I had the privilege to be alive and also being able to make a post here again today. Today, I would love to show you guys some African pencil drawings that are really of high-class and much more attractive and valuable.

List of great African pencil drawings I could bring up today.

The above picture is a pencil drawing of Nelson Mandela former President of South Africa, though he's late now but he happens to be one activist Africans can never forget not even South Africans. As you can see in the above picture is the Union Building as the background of the drawing, the drawing was made on paper with the size 17cm by 14.5cm in year 2013 and the drawing looks a little bit realistic and most importantly, it's never hard to identify the person in the picture.

African child by- Lou Ortiz.

The above drawing is a pencil work by Lou Ortiz which was made on paper, the drawing is been used to depicts or illustrate how an African child looks like though some attribute aren't necessary while drawing an African child, things like the earrings! The above art is what I call realistic drawing because it looks more realistic than just a mere drawing or sketch.

The above drawing is an African female child, mere looking at the drawing, one can easily tell it's an African child because of the hair do, that kind of hair do, actually has a lot to do with African culture and it's mainly their pride just as you can see that the girl who has the hair do is laughing already.... Lol.... I really love the above drawing, not just because is attractive but it's africa, it's black!, it's my continent, it's my world and my pride and more so, the drawing too is looking so realistic.

This is an African drawing, a kind of drawing that gives a lots of information about beliefs, religion, prayer, faith and many more things, in the picture you can see a little boy in a praying posture or a praying mood. An accurate realistic pencil work whereby the light and shades are intact and the shading technique is a unique one that has a lot of information through the details of the drawing.

The above pencil work is a picture of a typical African woman at work, the drawing is not really a realistic one but have a lot of info in it and it illustrates how an African woman do dress, how an African woman can be hard working, the kind of jewelry an African work make use of, the clothing materials they use and how dey use them and the work is such an attractive one.

Ghana woman by Kelly Tisdale.

This is the kind of drawings I call Hyper realism, the drawing though made with pencils but it's at times difficult to differentiate between the drawing and the reference picture or the model been drawn, this kind of drawing takes a very long time to finish and I have seen some artist spend 200hours on this kind of drawing cause it has a lot of details and none must be omitted and this same drawing happens to be the best so far on my list for today.

And lastly, we have this drawing that can be easily identified as an African picture, the drawing illustrates the bona-fide Africans in the colonial or before the colonial Era when we have most of them with different weird haircut both male and female and they were very use to war then so you can always see them with scars but this picture above shows us a gentle good looking black girl with a bead earring and necklace. When you see this, you see black! And black is beautiful!.*
