"Finding time" is always the challenge, isn't it?
I do like the idea of "practicing." Mine are small scale, of course... I doodle a lot on the 1/2 sheets of paper we end up with as waste from cutting up preprinted shipping labels from our eBay businesses.
I really like the vibrant boldness of what you were working with here.
Thank you !
Amazingly at this time, I normally have several hours open in the evenings to play at my art table almost every day if I want, but once there, I get lost in it and the time flies by! I still work a 40 hour job at home where the hours are set as they were when I actually had to go in to work, so in order to get a decent amount of sleep, I have to make myself stop. On the weekends I play till the middle of the night or more like, till the early hours of the morning. I like not having to quit those nights till I am tired.
I like the idea or practicing too and the journal type book makes sense in these very early stages of learning as I don't need 50 or 100 separate practice pieces to figure out what to do with later. This way I can learn what works and doesn't and get to keep it all if I want, without having to figure out where to put it all. 😄
It's nice that you are able to practice and make use of the half sheets that would be leftover anyway. I really like the designs you do and the coordinate color combinations too.
