Oh..my man ...dear friend. You are a real artist and looks to be a perfectionist apart from a professional way to set the things up. First of all appreciate the painting works and how you were trying to prove or compare your work with the original atmosphere which you chose to paint. I think I did not seen such a method from anyone else here. Kudos those creative thought.
Second the trekking location seems to be excellent, Agentina have such amazing places, You know though it is at the other end of the globe for us this country is very close to many of the people here and the stripped blue and white jersey is a weekness for many, Now you must be know how it is possible, of course because of Messi and his football.
I really loved that place and the photo where you seems to be relaxing is really looks wonderful, same with the photo with tent, By the way were you alone? It does look remote too. And also the painting is great too.
