in #art6 years ago

Steemit Art Magazine dedicated to art and artists. 'Top 100: the most talented' is a series of reviews and critique of the most prominent Steemit' artists.

Modern artists have their own creative look. They strive to be original and demonstrate their own world-view. Of course, with the rapid development of modern technologies, the world in artist’ eyes is also changing. Modern art is full of works in fantasy and surrealism style.

Surrealism is one of the most widespread trends in contemporary art. It’s characterized by the use of illusions and the paradoxical combination of forms. Outstanding masters of surrealism are Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Joan Miro.

One of the most talented surrealists of Steemit is Simon Lejeune @haedre

He is sci-fi artist, illustrator and comic author. All his works are full of small even tiny details, which are thought out and drawn so perfectly that the breath intercepts. There are no vivid colors; the artworks are dominated by gray color and dark shades, but it does not spoil them. The artist uses watercolor and ink.

Martin Kippenberger (1953-1997) German artist, sculptor and photographer, once said: "A Good artist has less time than ideas". And it's true. Looking at the artworks of @haedre it becomes clear that he is full of wonderful ideas and it would take only time to reproduce them. Wish him success in his work and inspiration!
