shrimp vaname is a type of shrimp introduced from South America which is widely cultivated in Indonesia since the end of 1990 replacing tiger shrimp that increasingly did not survive after exposure to white spot virus. formerly shrimp windu very famous in indonesia but after white spot virus attack and never found the medicine, then all switch to shrimp vaname which more stable price.
