The following photos are from a group photoshoot I did in New York in 2007. Over 100 top professionals in the modeling industry came together that day to work and collaborate on numerous projects. I leant my artistic talents in this venture to create three bodypaints.
The first bodypaint, “Trippy Hippie” features model and former Miss Pennsylvania, Trinette, as photographed by multiple photographers. The design was inspired by the surrealistic art style and free love movements of the 60’s, and conceived from the pages of the March 1968 issue of Playboy where they featured a model similarly donned in psychedelic bodypaint.

The second bodypaint, “Ragdoll” features model and actress, Lauren WK, as photographed by art photographer Pete Bellamy. This photoshoot was Lauren's brainchild and one of her first shoots as a budding model in New York, and thanks to Pete’s artistic eye we perfectly achieved the concept of a young model being tossed around like a ragdoll in the modeling industry.

My third and final bodypaint of the day was simply dubbed, “Mondrian” and featured local art and fashion model, Mela, as photographed by top fashion photographer Sandy Ramirez. The design was a simple recreation of a painting by Piet Mondrian and conceived as a performance art piece where Mela would “flash” her “body of work” at the camera.
