I saw this huge mural painted on the side of a building and it blew my mind. The detail was amazing. Here is the full picture.

My favorite part is the right half with the javelina, desert tortoise, and the jackalope riding mountain bikes. Really when it comes down to it you can look at the picture for a long time and keep seeing new details and how they all fit together.

Joe, the artist who created this has a pretty interesting story and a lot of other work he has done in Arizona. It is pretty cool. http://www.joepagac.com/

Not an art person, but that is awesome. For some reason, I imagine the cowboy to be Puscifer-era Maynard James Keenan, but that's just my brain firing off some shit.
I love how the dress transitions into the desert they are riding on and her hair transforms into the night sky. It stuck me so much that I had to stop and take pictures.
I have lived in Arizona for 20 Years and have never been to Tucson. Now I need to go and check it out. Thank You @brianphobos..........
Tucson has some cool stuff going on. It just really depends what you are into. The mountains are a lot cooler around Tucson then up in Phoenix. There are cliffs to jump off here. But some of them I don't recommend.
Very cool mural. I was just watching a Vice documentary last night about Chicano art and tattooing, looks like a similar style
I have no idea how a person would keep their position and scale when painting something like that. Pretty crazy.
Yeah, we lived in Palm Springs for a few years and make the trek over there to Arizona as we had some good friends there. . We found these little hidden artists communities with paintings you could buy and just really other cool artistic things for sale. Anyway, wow what a painting
During some of the street festivals there is some pretty cool art work as well.
I really got into that whole desert life and the terrain with the rocks and the mountains. I loved backpacking in La Quinta where we lived in a desert bungalow for a few years. Its a dry heat put there that I miss compare to the wet sweltering heat down here in South Texas.
Btw, I mentioned you in a recent post tonight. A kind of 'what would you do' series that I have been doing lately
amazing art and photography.
Thanks!
I never thought @brainphobos with all the stress involved in keeping us up to date with crypto currency world, will have time to appreciate the work of art....
