Elf 18 Elf Mail
Sorting mails from around the globe is one of the tasks the elves do in Santa's workshop. Here is one of those elves that I designed. He is a sub team lead in charge of sorting mails then sends them to the fulfilment department.
Here is how I made the Elf mail:
I am already done with the outline and final look. Here I am trying out colors that would work with my idea of red, white and blue which is quite common seen on mail envelopes
The red white and blue stripes on the socks did not look right so I put those colors on the gloves, tights and jacket. Muted them a bit as they look quite vibrant.
Time to define the generic looking character here I added a sack and envelopes
The skin color is grayish and dull so I made it a bit warmer and rich. I also retraced the line drawing to darken it some more
Here you see the apron already having those light stripes which is common with all the characters I made. The last detail I need to edit would be the shade of blue on his trousers. From dark to vibrant shade like this. I'm a bit happy with this one.
