You rock like steem, I'm upvoting right now! I've upvoted. Nice paintings from @chessmonster Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much @jimscope !

I like it :)

Glad you like it @foxkoit

you are welcome :)

You did her with that clean and sharp brush moves, firm like a building @chessmonster. Can't resist but to upvote and resteem.

Very beautiful.

I really get the sense of the convexity of the iris. yet it is so concisely described.

😀 thanks!

Nice work, @chessmonster! My sister, @jenerallee78 finally joined Steemit. She is a much better artist than I am. I suggested she follow you. Once she starts posting her art work here on Steemit, I think she will gain a good following.

Thanks ! @countryinspired I'll check out her work.

Inlove with your hot colours and blocky brushstrokes!

Thank you! @walperion Working under a warm spotlight and leaving it blocky for my students so they could clearly grasp the concepts of light and shadow separated by a halftone. Only thing is, I forgot the halftone on her nose! LOL I guess I got away with it though.

realistic yet the painting itself seems so simple, well done :)
