I found this squirrel on some tree roots in Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona, Arizona. He posed for me just long enough to get a quick photo, then scampered away.
I painted this watercolor in my studio. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, I have a 21" iMac set up so I can paint from a beautiful image on the screen, which provides me with all the information I need.

”Sedona Squirrel” 7”x11” (#3031) watercolor on Arches by Lee Gordon Seebach
I liked the backlighting on the squirrel against the dark log and flowing creek in the background, plus the warm reflected light from the creek bank.
I hope you enjoy seeing this painting.
More to come,
Lee
