Ah, how I miss fireflies. As a youngster, we would chase them all over, trying to guess where the next 'flash' would be. They are not in this part of the world, and even at the places where I used to live, there are fewer. Such a fascinating bug.

There does seem to be an ebb and flow of these little creatures, perhaps their level of existence depends on a bit of extra rain. There seems to be quite an extra amount this year.....thus they made their way into this work. hehe ^__^
They have a way of lighting one's imagination.
