Looks like we were both doing the nostalgia thing yesterday!
Nik-L-Nips surely deserve the prize for the worst-named sweet ever. They never made it to this side of the Atlantic, but we did have Cola Bottles.

I googled it a while ago, because the product was so familiar, but like I said above, the name not so much. Turns out more than one company put them out, so some did have a different name, with Sweet Sips & Super Slurpys being two of them. I thought the name was off myself, but turns out, back in the day, the Nik-L-Nips were named for the Nickel that they cost and you "nipping" off the top with your teeth. Someone was a little too creative on that....LOL.
Of course as children, we wouldn't have cared what the name was, just that we got some.
