This piece is of the famous colourful sails of Nantucket. It is an age old tradition and I made this painting as a surprise for my MIL. She lost her original when they sold their sailboat, as it was hanging down below. This is my first Steepshot post and I am still unfamiliar with it. I hope this shows up properly and I hope any who see it enjoy my work.

I took 2 weeks break from my painting classes, but I shall take this one as my first sample in watercolor too, I really like the combination. You never disappoint! How long does it take you to paint something like this?
This one took me a couple weeks from study, water colour to digital oil/pastel :)
