Here you can see a very well-known mineral in the raw form of which one or the other may have heard something before, sulfur. One of the main properties is probably the yellow appearance and it usually occurs when volcanoes emit sulfur-containing vapors which then fall to the ground. It can take on different crystal shapes and the best known places of discovery include Iraq, Sicily, Poland, Mexico, Iran and North America.
From an industrial point of view, there are numerous application possibilities and it is often used by the chemical industry for the production of sulfuric acid for the production of fertilizers or dyes. In the form of fertilizer, plants absorb sulfur through the roots and is important for the metabolism of the plant. It has also been used in the pharmaceutical sector for a long time and is needed for the production of various medicines for internal and external use. It can be said that sulfur is one of the most important raw materials in pharmacy and without sulfuric acid some production processes would not be possible.
In alchemy, sulfur is considered one of the most important minerals and is associated with the elements fire and air. From a symbolic point of view, sulfur is also associated with creativity and as a source of inspiration and manifestations. It was already highly valued as a medicine in ancient Greece and it was probably also appreciated as bleach in ancient Egypt. Sulfur was also already used for the production of gunpowder and as a preservative in ancient times.
Sulfur is also very popular as a healing stone and can help balance the energy in general and provide more clarity. It can also help to improve the ability to concentrate and can be used externally against skin diseases, for example as a bath additive. As always, it is important to mention that it is alternative medicine and if you have any complaints, you always should ask your doctor about the right medicine and use!

I didn't find it myself, but one of these specimens originally comes from Italy from the volcanic area near Sicily.
