From grim tales to fairytales to urban legends, and everything in between. Iris Compiet has seen, studied and painted them all. Some even whisper that she has actually encountered a few of those creatures in real life herself. These stories are not even too hard to believe, since Iris has painted them with such astounding accuracy. Her artwork is not only water, pencil and paint. It seems to be alive.
Recently she did a Kickstarter campaign which was a huge succes. The goal was reached in no time, and she was able to add more pages to the artbook she wanted to print, called Faeries of the Faultlines.
