I have never thought of sketching a painting I think that is a great way to practice art skills and try to recapture the essence of a painting. I think you did quite well I like your sketch well done. ( Found you on @chbartist’s list, will follow you now I have found you)🙏
Thank you so much and really glad you think so because sketching really strips down a piece to its core.
It sure does and must make it easier to appreciate the art work after you have spent that time breaking it down, great for improving art skills, it would be a great exercise for art students learning about doing art and appreciating art.
