I think i heard about the occult symbolism behind the Magic Flute play but i do not remembera lot of details. Your artwork is very beautiful, i loved the figure of Papageno posing with the bird cage and the totemic hat in the head and the bird at the foreground. You did a vey good job narrating with the story with the image:) I saw your blog also and you have a lot of beautiful art, the peacock is really impressive as central image:)

The Magic Flute is filled with references to Masonry. Temples, Eye of Horus, and the rituals all hearken to MAsonry and some level of occultism.
