Hey George, indeed and on KnownOrigin and SuperRare 🙃 its cool to findsome ppl here from the cryptoart-fam from Twitter. Are you there too? let. me know your user-nameso that I can give you a follow! 🔥❤️
I am planning also to kickstart my profile at makersplace and trying to make new creations, i think that these platforms have a future for us artists and eventually maybe even replace galleries. I am on twitter also (boyageorge) and i am following you, thats why i remembered than name and art, lol. I think hive will be really cool to use it as a place to present some process of you art and ideas and adverise your new listings at MP KO ans SR. Cool to see you and looking forward to see more:)
I think that too. The NFT art space is a little revolution in the art world, but not so much recognized yet. well, I think it wont replace galleries but supplement them with VR and so on. Great times for art 🔥
I saw also studied art conservation! Do you also work in this sector? I am oil painting beside the digital stuff and make my own cleaned oils. This is quite fascinating. Are you working with traditional materials too?
I studied yes, but have not worked in this sector. My niche was orthodox religious icons, we have a lot of them in Greece and i did my 6 month practice at the Byzantinum Museum of Thessaloniki. That is my only experience to tell you the truth, lol.
Are you still working in conservation?
No, Ii never did... sorry for the missunderstanding, but it always fascinated me and I also was looking for a job in this sector for some time, but I am self-thought snd couldn‘t get one. I used my knowlegdge mainly for oil painting and have. 2-3 good books 🙃 Icons are great! I am not just a lover of crypto art.The old masters and sacred art has a strong place in my heart tbh Looking forward to see you on Makersplace etc! 🔥💪🏻
Its not as exciting work as it sounds to tell you the truth, lol. Most of the time you are trying to clean as gently as you can a small dirty area and it takes a looooot of time. I started as artist by making handcut collages, 90% of my artwork is handcut. I switched to digital 2-3 years ago because i want to experiment with motion and do stuff that i could not with handmade art. looking forward too:)
