Looks to me like he already has lots of babies. Dozens of them are hanging off his wings, something like a mommy spider trotting around with her hoards on her back. Charming fellow - nobody can resist a creature that trained dogs to lick his armpits.

It certainly is tough to get those dogs to stay still for that long. There's a tiny little castle on top of a mountain peak, as one of the ears.
