Life is a journey filled with unexpected miracles.

Hello everyone! Today I'd like to explain how to paint this beautiful watercolor art, first prepare the tools. This is my tools :

As I'm just an amateur who's trying to understand watercolor by practicing, all my tools are student grade and the price is quite affordable.

  • My Watercolor paint : Koi Water Colors, Phoenix Water Color, and Mijello Mission Silver.
  • My brushes : Artemedia Manglon, Artemedia Kazan, and some cheap but fine brushes which have no brand, haha... seriously, there's no brand on it.
  • V-Tec watercolor paper 300 gsm, for watercolor it's better to used 300 gsm or above paper, but I don't recommend to bough this paper, as it's not really nice, the colors hardly stay in one place, by a little wash from the brush the paint will disappear.
  • Towel/Tissue
  • Water, lots of water, because when the water has change its color, it's better to refill it with fresh water.

First I make a sketch, it supposed to be light, but I feel pressured... haha

But It's ok, after I finished the sketch then I erased it by tapping my eraser on it.

Then, began the coloring process, start by coloring the 1st layer, I used arte kazan brush for this step.

After the 1st layer dried, now working on 2nd layer, adding the details, started from the background.

This is the clear sample of how the 1st and 2nd layer would looks like.

Do You see the differences? First layer and then details, that's how I do my watercolor work.

Lastly coloring the bicycle, this is the 1st layer. Anyway, It's better to create your own black, because the color would blend beautifully with our painting instead using what's available on the tube.

The journey is more beautiful than the destination is so true in this post

It's all about mindset, if we have negative way of thinking we will fail to see the beauty of the journey that we have 😁

That absolutely true
