Suddenly I get a message on my instagram, I've saw this girl been following me for quite awhile, but I don't follow her back since I think I don't know her, she's a girl from the US, asking if I open for commission work.

To be honest, I feel quite pessimistic, I thought she's just some random people who like asking about painting and then just vanish into the thin air just like most of people who sent me messages on my Instagram account... But then she asked to meet... And I was like... Whooa 👁👄👁 this is real, this is happening! Then we decided the time & place to meet, she told me what she wanted, quite clear and I can imagine it, so this painting is based on her imagination, I just trying to make her imagination become a picture, and she said it's more than what she imagined! I'm so glad that she likes the work 🤗

Painting Process

First sketching and then start coloring the background.

Still working on the background.....

After I'm done with the background coloring, now I'm wondering on coloring the fisherman.

Next I'm coloring the main boat on this painting

I'm working layer per layer.

Done with the main boat.

You can see the difference between part which have finished and part which only done the 1st layer.

Here's clearer example.

That's how I make my paintings, base color, 2nd layer, detailed layer.

I always pay attention to details.
