Okay I am basically a philistine with concept of art.......maybe not.
So the apples might hold a certain resemblance to berries but the fruit picker kinds of confirms the tree being an apple tree.
This art reminds me so much of the paintings from the Mughal era in India that it is kind of nostalgic.
To my eye the painting seems to be two different parts. One is the place where the horse and the fruit picker stand and second is background clearly delineated by the sandy path. I like it.
(It is the foreground that reminds of the paintings from Mughal era)
So other people paint like this @hashcash? The foreground just has the base color of yellow, I will be adding different shades of blue to make the grass green. I stll have lots of work to do on all the subjects and bring the background, middleground, and foreground into harmony. I will look up the artist and styles you mentioned. I am intrigued!
I do not understand art that much. I definitely cannot give a critique that could qualify at any level. I just wrote what I thought.
I found your art really interesting and it reminds me of the art I have previously seen. I hope you upload the finished work. Thanks!
Maybe in my privious life I was an indian artist....my art looks kind of
You see it to right? What a relief, I thought I was alone.
Also what would you say if I told you that in the painting the horse seems to be the most majestic and central figure?
Was it intentional or maybe I am wrong?
