A few years go after stumbling across some amazing photos of PINK mushrooms, I started painting them. Little did I realise a full on obsession with painting these magical aliens would bloom inside of me!!!
I have SO MANY works of art that have little shroomy beauties woven into them, but today I wanted to share this artwork with you.
I started working on this A3 artwork, but it ended up being the kind of piece that when I finished it I realised I was only just beginning! It ended up being the sketch I worked off for a much bigger version of the concept!
Here is the artwork that I ended up creating from the smaller one. It is about 4x the size of the sketch, and I used a much more saturated colour pallet. It was actually still the same physical pallet that I used for the sketch, but I mixed it with this paint called Gauge which will turn to watercolour if you add enough water too it, but you have the bonus of it originally being really thick so you can get a much deeper colour :)
