What makes a painting?
There is no supernatural power that will take you to produce a good painting. What makes a good painting? That is not the subject of this post.
What takes you to produce a good painting, or let's say a painting that you're happy with, that you feel identified with... That's hard work and only hard work. Many hours of drawing, and many failed attempts will be the foundation of acquiring the skills required to produce a good painting.
