Hello Everybody!
I keep working on the 3D artwork for my Documentary Project. I will be sharing updates about the progress being done.
Most of the computer graphics work is for animated info-graphics and motion graphics (like title sequences).
But there is much more to be done rather than just graphics and animation.
One of the core values of the project is to make it an audio-visual experience.
The original soundtrack, the meticulous historical accuracy in each reconstruction, and the remastering of historical archive footage is as important as the exhaustive historical and epistemological research.
Reconstructing and exploring, in-depth, the scene of an historical event is quite a challenge. But the project and the audience deserve it.
Restoring old media historical footage, to be watch and listen in the high definition without been distracted by image or audio quality is also a very time consuming effort. An effort not so appreciated by the untrained eye or the casual viewer. But is critical for the homogeneity of the experience. (In future posts i will share, also, some of this restoring techniques)
I'm also working on developing some tools to handle the investigation information and make it easier to explore and extract meaningful data. (This topic will have it's own post too)
By now I'm sharing some other pieces of the work and looking forward for your feedback. Fell free to comment and critique

Sigo trabajando en los diseños 3D para mi Proyecto Documental. Iré compartiendo actualizaciones sobre el progreso que se está realizando.
La mayor parte del trabajo de gráficos por computadora es para info-grafías animados y motion graphics (como secuencias de títulos).
Pero hay mucho más por hacer que solamente gráficos y animación.
Uno de los valores centrales del proyecto es convertirlo en una experiencia audiovisual.
La banda sonora original, la meticulosa exactitud histórica en cada reconstrucción y la restauración de las imágenes históricas de archivo son tan importantes como la exhaustiva investigación histórica y Epistemologica.
Reconstruir y explorar en profundidad la escena de un evento histórico es todo un desafío. Pero el proyecto y la audiencia lo merecen.
La restauración de antiguas secuencias de vídeo históricas, para ser vistas y escuchadas en alta definición sin distraerse con la calidad de imagen o sonido es también un esfuerzo que consume mucho tiempo. Un esfuerzo no tan apreciado por el ojo inexperto o el espectador casual. Pero es crítico para la homogeneidad de la experiencia. (En publicaciones futuras, también compartiré algunas de estas técnicas de restauración)
También estoy trabajando en el desarrollo de algunas herramientas para manejar la información de la investigación y facilitar la exploración y extracción de datos significativos. (Este tema también tendrá su propia publicación)
