Oh no! You are totally right about the abduction scenario as that is mostly how it is being presented. The waters got muddy when there was a ransom demand, but it came too far after the disappearance I'm thinking and was just some other scum humans trying to take advantage of the situation. Obviously, my opinions on what it really was have no good basis. 😊
