All Quiet on the Bitcoin Front by Joe Chiappetta is mixed media and collage on paper in my sketchbook, scanned and made available as rare digital art on MakersPlace. Only 10 limited editions are available on the blockchain.
What is this crypto-collectible art about? Why is the person's mouth so deliberately covered by cryptocurrency? Sometimes there is nothing new to say about anything, including Bitcoin. Such times of silence are not necessarily good nor bad. What matters is what works now, and what comes next.
This artwork started as a drawing of my wife @denisechips using pen and some China markers that she got me as a gift. Then I did what seems like a ton of experimental drawing tricks on the piece to turn the artwork into what I would call cutting-edge crypto art. I say cutting-edge because I literally had to use a razor blade to cut out the orange Bitcoin "B" letter so it could be glued on top of the drawing.
